Hi everone,

Long time!

Shane has applied for an appeal as a result of his motion being denied in the Bronx Supreme Court on April 18, 2008. The basis for the appeal is, ironically, the reason given for the denial of the motion: too much time has elapsed since the crime to consider the motion. And Shane is declaring insufficient representation at the original trial.

I have written to Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and 5 independent agencies/law firms, appealing for help. If you are so inclined, I urge you to do the same:

Center on Wrongful Convictions
Northwestern University School of Law
357 East Chicago Ave.
Chicago, IL 60611

Civil Rights Clinic
NYU Clinical Law Center
Furman Hall 245 Sullivan Street
New York, NY 10012

Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & jacobson
1 New York Plaza
New York, NY 10004

Rogers & Wells, LLP
200 Park Avenue
New York, NY 10166-0153

Stroock, Stroock, & Lavan, LLP
180 Maiden lane
New York, NY 10038

Thank you and God bless you-

will
